they are pretty cool. I won one from the Pepsi promotion, and haven't been dissapointed yet. The games are awesome and the graphics are even better.

Its not a waste right now. Have you guys bothered to look at the games coming out in the next 2 months? Most have completely set dates.

For sports fans theres Fight Night, College Hoops, Top Spin, MLB 2K6....for RPG fans theres Elder Scrolls, Final Fantasy....for FPS fans theres Ghost Recon, Battlefield, Far Cry....theres a ton of good games coming out. That list doesnt even include summer games like Gears of War, Prey, Moto GP, NCAA Football, Madden, Timeshift, Chromehounds, Lord of the Rings, Test Drive, The Godfather, Saints Row, Frame City Killer, Splinter Cell.

Also if you have one, or buy one now theres plenty of good games until these come out. Condemned is an amazing game, best game for the system IMO. Project Gotham Racing 3 is awesome. NFS: Most Wanted is fun. Perfect Dark Zero is great online, not single player. Call of Duty 2 is good. Dead or Alive is good.

Have you played Condemned at night that game scares the **** outta me with all the noises and stuff that jumps out at you. It's naturally a dark game with you only carrying a pathetic flashlight.

Condemned is a great game, its just an amazing experience. If you like games, you must experience that game. Preferably in surround sound, hdtv, lights off, alone....its really awesome.

But Merrill Lynch recently quoted the PS3 as being $900 to make one. Because their cell processor is $230 per console, and their bluray drive is $350 per console. So if they plan to only lose around $125 like Microsoft is right now per console theyd have to see it for at least $699. Which is ridiculous.

I have nothing against Sony, I owned ps2, xbox, and gamecube. But I think maybe Sony is overdoing it too much with power ****. When they should tone that down, and focus on their online gameplay and other aspects theyre missing. With a price so high that means after like 3 years when the 360 is down to like $200 a ps3 will still be $400+.

One of my kids has 360. He loves it and has only complained about the need to burn discs on the PC to allow him to play the old games. The PS prices sound ridiculous. Anyone remember Neo Geo? that was also an outrageously highly priced game. The price killed that one. It was awesome graphically for it's time though.

My borther-in-law has one. The graphics look awesome. But this is also on a 60-inch HDTV. I think the TV quality plays in part how well it looks.

I got Fight Night Round 3 when it came out. It's one of the best graphic games out there. If you've seen any videos on the game, that's exactly how it looks. I'm not even playing it on an HDTV and it amazes me how good it is.
