Green Bay Packers - Anthrax Scare!

    Green Bay, WI
Monday, December 8, 2005 - Anthrax Scare At Lambeau Field

Green Bay Packer football practice was delayed nearly two hours today after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field.

Coach Mike Sherman immediately suspended practice while police and federal investigators were called to investigate.

After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance unknown to the players was the goal line.

Practice was resumed after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again.

Ouch....as a die-hard Packer's fan that hurts......but nice one....that's good. Though there's two types of **** teams....the Packers (injury decimated) and the 49ers/Lions (just plain pathetic).

But unlike the Lions, I can remember when the niners were good.

**** the Packers. As a Bears fan (it hurts so bad) I'm glad Favre is finally dead. Football on Christmas?!?!?!?!?! Finally, an excuse to stay away from the family on yet another non-secular holliday.

Favre's hardly dead....if he had ANY help at WR he'd be putting up great numbers....and 80% of his INT's are tipped passes that his inexperienced WR's can't handle. He's put up record-setting numbers without a great WR his whole career...save for Sterling Sharpe. But I guess being a Bears fan you aren't up on what constitutes a good QB :P;P But the Bears have a good defence....I'll give you that. We'll see how they do vs. the Pack in week 16.

Me either. We cornered the market in misery for football as well as baseball for decades. But why do the Bruins have to suck?
