    Top 10 Free Agents

    Top 10 Free Agents

    By: Rollsroyce

    1. Paul Konerko - Konerko has proved hes a super-star with his back to back 40 homer seasons. Look for paul to command 10-15 million dollars a year. Prediction: Whitesox
    Signed with: Whitesox

    2. Rafael Furcal - Furcal's game has continued to inprove and he finally seems to be able to aim his strong arm. Furcal has proved he is one of the 5 best lead off men in the league and because of the lack of good shortstops will command a ton of money. Prediction: Cubs
    Signed with: Dodgers

    3. Billy Wagner - Games hardest throwing lefty. Any year could earn 50 saves. Pediction: Mets

    4. A.J. Burnett - Top Starting pitcher on the market. Teams have been jumping for him. Look for him to make up to 15 million a year. Prediction: Mariners
    Signed with: Bluejays

    5. Johnny Damon - Top 5 leadoff man in the league, but his agents request of a year year contract seems to be scaring teams away. I fully expect the yankees to reach into their pockets and sign Damon to a 4 year deal. Prediction: Yankees

    6. B.J. Ryan - Ryan is a young lefty, that has the potiential to be great. Prediction: Mets
    Signed with: Bluejays

    7. Roger Clemens - "He had another great season, but a hamstring injury affected him in September and October. His son, Koby, is still a few years away from possibly playing in the big leagues and Roger won't be able to last that long." -ESPN I believe Clemens has 1-3 more years left in him and he probaly could pitch up to 7 more years. Look for him to come back and sign with the Red Sox. Prediction: Red Sox Prediction 12/06: Retire
    8. Kevin Millwood - Because of the lack of starting pitchers on the market, Millwood could comand up to 10 million a year. Prediction: Indians

    9. Brian Giles - Look for Giles to move out of San Diego in a effort to move to a hitters park. His power numbers have dropped since leaving Pit, and i expect Giles to head to a AL team on the west coast. Prediction: Atheletics Signed with: Padres

    10. Mike Piazza - Although he can no longer catch regulary, he could still be a offensive force as a DH in the American league. Prediction: Angels

Other Hitters: Nomar Garciaparra, Kenji Johjima, Frank Thomas, Jacque Jones, Reggie Sanders, Ramon Hernandez, Bengie Molina.

Other Pitchers: Matt Morris, Trevor Hoffman, Kyle Farnsworth, Jarrod Washburn, Jeff Weaver.

Milwood is easily the best starter in Free Agency...burnett only has like a 49-50 W-L record....I am expecting Milwood to be signed to a 4 year 45-50 million contract or a 5 year=60million.

Yup - The Dodgers totally overpaid. He's a good SS, and will continue to be an allstar in the NL but man, thats a ton of $$$

I'm thinking his 2Bs, 3Bs, & SBs will go up
OBP will be much higher, but nothing like his rookie season (.398 OBP)

    He wins a GG too

but he's a light hitting SS. Speed is great, but I wouldnt pay anything near that amt for SBs.

what happens when cesar izturis returns?
and what about joel guzman? i guess he could move to 3B since he's almost troy glaus size.

moving guzman to 3B would cause 3B/2B prospect andy laroche
guess they gave up on willy aybar???

    Great predictions rolls!

The dodger came in there at the end and out of no where signed him. ESPN reported that Furcal was within hours of signing a deal to go to the Cubs.

Burnett is younger and better stuff, and you never know what Millwood you will get... will you get the 04 Millwood (9-6 4.85) or the 05 version.

I say Millwood is a NL pitcher the AL is just all wrong for him. I think the Mariners could use him, but you never know.
