I did. They played like they were already in for the last two months of the season. Even more unbelievable and aggravating for me is that they also pi$$ed away the division crown. Not once but TWICE! They blew TWO 5 1/2 game leads late in the season. I hope they make some drastic changes in the team this offseason. Then again, if they keep this bunch of losers the starbucks crowd will leave in droves and I can afford to take my family to Fenway and see a game live. So I guess it really may be a plus for the average fan if they suck for a while.

I agree. I like these playoffs now because these teams are not in the play offs every year like the yankees

    Come on Angels

Now that Boston's gone, I'm hoping for the Sox to take it all.

I predict Angels in 5 and StL in 6 followed duely by StL in 4 (Cause they're beasts) I'm liking this series except I HATE the White Sox.

I'm hoping for the White Sox to FINALLY win something. If the Red Sox can win it, then the White Sox should be able to also. I'm still pulling for the Cubbies to do it too. (Then everyone will be happy and out of the lovable losers club. )

Houston has never won ANYTHING! I suppose I'm biased but I don't care what happens as long as the White Sox lose. If the Cubs never win the WS as long as I live it will be ok as long as the Sox don't win either. I really want to fight right now.

lol, You sound like me with the Yankees. If Boston finishes fourth next year I'm happy as long as the Yankees are in fifth! Here's an amusing little pic I found while browsing around.

Yeah, even with all the dramatic Red Sox wins this year, my favorite game of the year was still the Angels eliminating the Yankees in Game 5.

Sweet! Now that was fun to watch.

I've been complaining for almost a year now that they should have kept Pedro.

If so, they would have won the division by a decent margin, and probably faced the Angels, and had a decent chance of beating them.

Still, the White Sox are playing so well right now, they probably would have been squashed just like the Angels were. Without Pedro, Lowe, Schilling and Foulke, they just don't have the pitching.

the only reason why the angels were tired is because they didnt even get a days rest between series...while the whitesox were rested....thou angels one game one, they were just too freaken wiped out...not only that, that bad call by the home plate umpire in game two, probably doomed them mentally.
