    Why the new forums?

I liked that the old ones allowed you to easily in one step move from board to game. Now I don't have that ability, and will have to have multiple windows open to follow the boards and the game. It may not seem like much, but for a visually impaired person, multiple windows can really be a nuisance. I wish you guys would have warned us about the forum changes, or at least given us a vote.

chip there were many errors in the old forum....that is why the upgrade took place...i am unsure but i believe they are not done...i like the old layout of vbulletin 2 better...but at the same time, i hated when i would get e-mails for every reply...and when certain people couldnt log into there old accounts....for example...

Count me among those in the 'don't like it' column.

It looks nifty and new but I think it's already getting old. It's really hard to navigate and having the attachment thing like it is now is kinda annoying.

We basically HAD to upgrade. We were about 15 versions overdue which meant any bugs (like folks not being able to log in) were impossible to resolve.

There's also a chance we'll now be able to set it up so that League Commissioners also have Moderator privileges of their own league forums.

We should be able to get the 'My Account' buttons put back on the upper right shortly.

Love the new forums! Not being able to attach files over 1mb in the past was annoying. As with anything, it'll take a bit of getting used to, but within a week or two it will be humming.

I love the option to AIM someone from their post. This makes it so much easier to get in touch with someone for trades. The new look is refreshing as well.

I do hate the fact you can't got back to your team with ease. Hope this option is back shortly.

I agree. If this is fixed then I think everything will be fine. But responding to someone's post only to find yourself unable to return to your league's forum (without clicking your browser's "Back" button several times) is a real pain in the ***.

    The league buttons are back!

Sorry for the forum troubles. We really had no choice but to upgrade, as we were no longer able to get bug fixes and security updates to the bulletin software with the discontinued version.

There should be more improvements coming soon.

Thanks for adding the "my account" and "team summary" buttons up top. That was my biggest beef, because without them I lost my ability to navigate from forum to game and vice versa.

There's already been so much done in 8 hours. This is gonna look really good once it's all done.

The WYSIWYG editor function alone makes it worth the upgrade. You can copy and paste virtually anything once they get it working right, and it will keep the formatting.
