Can we get more editor freedom?

I wanted to add Joe Ness of the Ball State Cardinals into the game, he's a Junior who has been selected in the sixth round of the draft by Cleveland ... but I don't have the freedom to edit his biography info. I'd like to have the ability to edit bio info as well as key in my own data as to his HS and college stats. Is there any chance the editor could be patched to allow us some freedom? I absolutely HATE having to "copy" a current player to use them as a template (and then you're stuck with THEIR bio and THEIR friends no matter what). It doesn't seem too much to ask.

You have complete freedom to create a biography it just involves some effort in editing the Lahman databases with out screwing them up so everyone becomes a DH (I know from experiance becareful with those .csv files)

Having to f--- with the Lehman Database is not "editor freedom." There has to be a way they can create an extra page to the editor screen, where we can key in bio information and any HS and College season lines we'd like to add after we've created the guy and cleared his history.

What code? it is a Spreadsheet of stats and player ids. it even tells you what to do in the readme files. Thats how I added Roy Hobbs to show up.

I don't have any spreadsheet software so I see it on notepad. Stupid ugly wordpad. It looks bad cause some lines have it and some don't so you have to count till you find the correct number to count on the player line.

Yeah, and it's the counting that ****s me up ... I have a hard time counting lines of text considering my horrid vision. I seriously don't think it is too much to ask for an editor functin that ALLOWS REAL EDITING. This system is merely a copy machine that then allows you to toggle future statistics, but you have no real control over any data that's important to a diaryist. If SM keeps ignoring this ability need, they're going to continue to disappoint me.

It still does not matter, your biography (ie hometown, arm, height and weight do not show up) if you put in Lahman database
