Other (please describe below)
Only 16% so far want radio style broadcasting !?!??! Man that is what is cool about APBA is the Ernie Harwell Broadcast blast .... I was thinking there would be more interest
*shrug*
I'd think that it'd get tiring after a while. I'd probably turn it off after listening to a couple of games. After all, when has there ever been an audio system like that in a game that isn't extremely repetative?
More importantly though, a radio style broadcasting option would only be usefull in PBP mode, which not everyone uses.
true, true...
you know, Clay posted the script file that generated the scouting reports a while ago. I think it was like a year or two ago, actually.
I wonder if he would consider doing so again?
Definitely the half season thing is well (no disrespect to Clay) useless there are better alternatives:
All Star game (for those who like it,Im no fan)
trade deadline (my favourite )
September the 1st (expanded roster with the possibility of controlling who you would call up)
By the way I was reading Perry's report on Fox Sports about September Call ups & it was interesting to note that some teams DONT call up guys because they are in their Minors play offs I wonder if this is of any use for BM (I dont really have an opinion but thought Id mention this real life phenomena
why not more than one?
well, since there isn't really any "minor league playoffs", I don't think that it would make much sense. Really, I think that the focus should stay at the major league level. when you start talking about minor league scedules and actual game results, and minor league playoffs; well, that sort of thing is distracting from the primary game is what I think.By the way I was reading Perry's report on Fox Sports about September Call ups & it was interesting to note that some teams DONT call up guys because they are in their Minors play offs I wonder if this is of any use for BM (I dont really have an opinion but thought Id mention this real life phenomena
Stop simming points should be determined after we know what will or will not be implemented for 2008 (ie if off season salary arbritration is implemented,Draft to June etc)
but yea if the 3 above were introduced without necessarily stopping at the other points in the chain definitely (Put this in your next poll to see consumers reaction & their stop dates) for it as stopping at mid season always seemed to me a weird/unimportant timeline
I loved it too, but I think people realize it's a TON of work. I wrote the commentary code for Tony La Russa Baseball 3 and Old Time Baseball. On MLB Slugfest we needed a full-time programmer to get the commentary working right, and that doesn't even include the sound engineer and studio time.

You did !?!!?? Wow ..... uhmmm hey well since that is a no go I will settle for the PBP saved game feature ....
or wait ....
What about those Marlins cheerleaders ??? How about instead of new features you just send us a free Marlins cheerleaders baseball calendar ... hahahha
A couple things not added up there that i think would be cool is tv deals and watching live action of other games besides your own team. But i really like Bidding for free agents against the AI, radio commentary and the waiver wire ideas
Is it neccesary to have this thread stickied any more? This poll has some serious problems with it, not the least of which include that it's old.
I'm not asking for another poll to be stickeid or anything like that, it's just that it's probably about time to let this thread die with some respect. (unless of course Clay wants it stickied)

Well there's a bug in vBulletin that won't let me UNSTICKY really long threads. So we're stuck (literally) until we figure out how to fix that bug.
