I think what he mean was being able to view other teams' potential FAs. The guys that the CPU teams won't be resigning. Give something like a % chance [PLAYER] will be a FA at season's end like this:

    Chance Player (Team)
    96%---Roger Clemens(Houston)
    45%---Michael Young(Texas)
    02%---Alex Rodriguez(New York A)

That way you can plan accordingly and not force yourself to sign your crappy players when you have a possibility of signing a better one when FAs hit.
    - Currently with the Minor League Development Teams(a.k.a. Left BMO for awhile. Only playing BBM)

Aha. What does everyone else think? This wouldn't be TOO hard. We'd probably have to throw it in as a column in the Roster and Find Players page. But could also show it in some form on the 'Summary' page.

I like that and I think it would be a nice addition. I would also like to see the chance that a player is going to retire also so I know if I should re-sign them. One question I have Clay is when I re-sign a 43-45 year old to a new contract and that player retires am I still on the line for the contract (if this has been addressed or if anybody knows please let me know. I have always been confused as to whether I'm still paying for a player when he decides to retire.)

When a player retires in Baseball Mogul, you stop paying him. So you can usually work the system a bit by signing a 43-year-old to a long deal, knowing that he won't be collecting checks by the end.

I dont know why no one has brought up lefty/righty splits. That is such an important part of real baseball; lefty specialists, matchups. There should definitely be lefties and righties in the game and it would make switch hitters so much more valuable.

Very popular in the poll already. The line saying "Platoon splits (lefty/righty stats and lefty/righty lineups)"

cool, but I'd like to see something where a player just does not want to sign with you, or is very tough. I can sign any player with enough $$$, but how about something where they would like to go to certain teams? No more A-Rod in Milwaukee.

Re: Baseball Mogul 2007 Feature Poll

I'd like somewhat of a report like a signing report for each players with coding for where they want to go with an explanation i.e. Red = NO! "They suck!" and Green = Sign for less "hometown". This way you can tell if you're getting ripped off or wasting your time. It also might be nice to have a lost of what a free agent is looking for in a team i.e. a starter wanting better relievers or an infielder who wants to play in a park with tall grass.

how about scouts that gives you reports from high schools colleges and other countries players for the draft and free agents.also stats from other countries too too determine if you wanna try too take them away from their teams or see how they did on their team.

Re: Baseball Mogul 2007 Feature Poll

Something that I just randomly thought of which might be kind of dumb but might be interesting is, when offering trades in 2k6 the AI will tell you if he thinks it's a great offer or a stupid one...well when the AI offers trades to you, it would be cool to type in a response in which will then affect the relationship between you and the GM of that team, preventing future deals to be made with that team in the near future. Say, typing in a response like "Stupid idea IDIOT!" could hinder things. Eh whatever!
