Tom Verducci's I Was a Toronto Blue Jay

Did anyone else read this article in SI? I thought the article was great and gave a new look into reporting and baseball.
No I'm not joking. If I was joking I would have said "So a guy walks into a bar..."

Yeah I thought it was a great article.

I was lucky enough to go to Dodger Fantasy Camp back in 1998 (with my Dad as his retirement gift from his company) and a lot of what Verducci wrote sounded familiar. We got to use the real Vero Beach locker rooms and everything.

I ended up with elbow tendinitis after 3 days (too much time in the batting cages apparently) and got relegated to pinch running duty. I even got picked off during a game.

Just like a real major leaguer.

How do you know if you have elbow tendinitis? Like what are the symptoms and such?

when you throw and swing it wears down the joint. When you swing and throw you can feel it and it hurts. It's something that takes awhile to get over.

do you arms go numb from the elbow down to your thumbs? I was told years ago that I had inflamed my rotator cuffs in both of my shoulders. My left shoulder has healed more than my right shoulder due to me being a righty, but I still have tons of pain in both of my elbows and from my elbows down everything goes numb all the time. I was wondering if elbo tendinitis could be a cause or if the cause is still my rotator cuffs?
