Beta Testing for 2k6

Hello Clay, First off thank you for putting such a great effort into the game and listening to requests in order to make this game better. I would love to beta test the game, as I feel I have been a vocal advocate to enhance 2K6. sorry to dissappoint you dude but beta testers for this year seem to have already been picked. If you wanna have a chance next year your best bet is to post on these boards a lot (and I do mean a lot) find bugs when the game is first available and post info about it and then you might have a chance next year. From what little I know (only tested football mogul) they seem to e-mail you and let you know if you have been chosen and stuff.

If Clay is looking for more...he will probably come around to this thread...and if he needs yah...he will drop you an e-mail...I almost didnt get mine for some reason, he e-mail address wasnt on my safe list....so it went to my junk-mail folder, i always scan this folder before i delete everything...right before i deleted it...i saw clay's e-mail address.

hmm...but i have a feeling not all of the people that are beta testers were chosen by Clay, some might've just uncovered the beta forum or something like that. It's not like these forums are encrypted or anything.

I was added at the last minute by Clay, in time for 7.62. He said he liked my diary postings, said he thought I might be able to find bugs for the team by playing out diaries and such. So that's another avenue, since that forum is often neglected. Posting your stories can help you

Yeah, I had seen your ongoing sagas of Jonathan Sanders. You do a great job with those. I usually don't have the patience to go through it all, though, and i'm quite busy when i'm here on the forum. I got chosen, I suppose, for my activeness here. Since I started my account in August, i've been active on here almost everyday. I'm also known for jumping from thing to thing to make this game better. That's why i was nicknamed "the utility man"

Actually the forum requires moderator permission to get in (if you want permission, send an e-mail to iansmith@sportsmogul.com).

I had a nice long list of prospective beta testers in Microsoft Outlook, but then Outlook died on me and I switched to Mozilla (which is a nice free stable e-mail product, BTW).

That means I've been using a random shotgun blast to find beta testers this year, and I don't mind the link getting around within reason.

We could use all the feedback we can get on the beta right now. The historical seasons and expansion still haven't been very well tested, and the rosters could use some feedback.

Also, if the beta leaks out, I believe it will act more as a demo than as something that eats away from our customer base.

Anyone that wants the full version, with bug fixes, and all the features we will add in patches during the baseball season, will probably end up buying Baseball Mogul 2006.

I can access it with this account....

if i click on say boomboom's profile, then click on see all post..i can see all the post i have made ....and it will link me to the private forum....

so really it isnt private. I can post there too...
