Thread: will 2k6 be backwards compatible...

    ok, u guys may have answered this question, but if so i cant find the answer. i run a 2k5 league. when 2k6 comes out, can i take my 2k5 file and move it to 2k6? so i can use it in the new better version? or will that mess up my old file? thanks.

    the only thing thou, is that everybody in your league would need to get 2k6.

    Always keep a back up...before you make the change to 2k6 so that you can always go back to it.

    you will always find some sort of bugs....in changing leagues but from 2k5 to 2k6 it should be minor. Now if you were changing from 2k, to 2k6...the code is totally different (and better) now. you might find some changes in the financial aspect.

    I saw a report in this thread that loading 2K5 into 2K6 Beta caused some stats to disappear? If this is true in 2K6, just let me know (cjd at sportsmogul dot com) and I'll get right on it.

    I've attempted to open a 2004 .MOG file in Mogul 2006.

    When I attempt to open Mogul 06, an ERROR comes up and shuts the program down.

    Any ideas how to do this so it works?

    Or am i forgetting something?
