Regardless, I get 50M+ for my draft package EVEn if I have the lowest picks because I won the "world championship". Thats a bit too much for nothing
Yep, it seems a bit high, but I don't truly have a problem with it.
Strange since I can't seem to trade any draft picks. I can't even offer them up on trade screens or Get Offers screens.

Well I was just doing the college draft and when my first round pick came up, #5, I got a message box saying I couldn't afford to draft a player at that spot because it would put me over the salary cap. It suggested that I trade away that pick for some cash that will allow me to draft someone with my next pick.

This is the biggest reason we allow trading picks for cash -- even if you can't do it in the NFL. It's no fun to get to the draft and realize you don't have enough to sign a top player.Originally posted by oasage

You might just let them go over the cap during the draft -- but then require them to get under before the first game. This would be more like reality. (Not exact, but close enough for a computer game)

That's a good point, but we still have the cash limiting issue.Originally posted by TRuschak

Obviously, real life is more complicated. If you are drafting Eli Manning, you'll call your banker and arrange a loan to make sure he has the proper signing bonus. But in Mogul we want to keep the cash simple while also providing some hard limit (and thus a link between ticket sales and success etc.)
