i just bought your Football Mogul 2k3 game online, and its not up to your Baseball 2k3 standards.... some examples: the NEWS section could use the same ESPN-ish newspaper headlines(to flesh the game out a bit), a "farm" setting or "training" setting like the one in Baseball Mogul, player editing seems to lack a lot of the stat titles etc, the inability to add more teams was sorta a letdown(seeing that there were slots available too), also in the data EVERY CITY seems to have the same stats(?).
ALSO for ppl like me who JUST bought 2k3 online, its a SHOCK to see that the price of the CDROM just dropped the day after i bought the online version!(cant you offer us a deal or something on the next version? >like $30 for both download & cdrom).
i really enjoy this genre of gaming so good luck with the new version. im looking forward to it, heres hoping that the new one will implement some improvements and catch up to the Baseball Mogul version's quality.
btw if you ever decide to research for a Basketball sim, i found that World Basketball Manager was quite good.(though interface is clunky at best).this game offers a "world wide" choice of players etc as well as leagues to play. for baseball that would mean you can scout players etc from foreign leagues(cuba/korea/japan/etc for example)
also though its a different sport, Championship Manager 03-04(soccer) has some great options that would be awesome to have in your games: tactics engine, foreign leagues/player rankings etc., scouting involves sending a scout to another team for a few turns(he will report whether that player "fits" your current team or if hes worth his weight in pay etc), another point of interest is the ability to lead a lower level ranked team upwards(i guess this is more for baseball? leading an AA or AAA team to the Upper ranking Pros or by leading the teams to championships, you gain the right to coach/lead at higher level *found in both CM and WBM*), searches can be done by club, nation, name and postion.
both games take waaaaaaaaaaaay longer to load mind you, but they both offer some points of interest which may be fun to have in future releases
