Negro League MOD

I don’t believe this has been attempted before. I am working on a MOD built using the Negro League players during the 1932 season.

I found the needed data online at the Seamheads site. However the lack of either the teams that played that year OR the lack of Box Score data makes it impossible to create all the teams that existed in 1932.

I am creating 2 modified leagues, the East-West League and the Negro Southern League. Each league having 8 teams but I am using 3 of the Independent League teams to fill in where there is not enough data for the teams in the original 2 leagues.

I need help with Ballpark data if possible, as in field dimensions. I am posting a pic of the teams and their listed field of play. A couple have 2 home fields list, I only need one.

I plan to just use the fictional fields the sim creates at this time and renaming them.

I have included some screen pics as well. CHECK MARKS next to the player name indicated actual players that year. The others are fictional players the sim generated.

UPDATED: 11/8/2021 I have created a 80 Game Schedule over the weekend. Took awhile but I was able to create a Schedule which has 2 and 3 day breaks.

I am going to need a special Season Calendar for this MOD. If somebody knows how to create a 16 Team with 2 Leagues schedule, with 40 games in the first half of the year with an All Star game and 40 games in the second half of the year. Then a World Series in Oct, (Home Run Derby would be nice too if possible.)

Post the schedule here in the thread and I will see it. (Thanks in advance).

I am thinking the schedule would have teams playing 2 days and then off 2 days.

The Names of the 16 Teams are in my first post if that is needed information.

I can see why this has not been attempted before. Each team plays a different amount of games each year. Nothing seems to be the same from year to year. Teams dissolve mid year and players just move on to other teams.

The average number of maximum games played in a season (by a couple of teams) seems to be about 80 games. The teams only had about half as many players as a MLB team, so spacing out the 80 games will give Pitchers more time to recover.

As of now 4 teams have been completed.
