    Is Baseball becomingto anaylitical?

If you bring in your lefty to face Ken Griffey do you bring in a right handed batter? Of course not. But lately the L vs R analytics is doing just that. Red hot starting pitchers are getting yanked to quickly, batting lineups are too righty vs lefty. I don't mind some analytics, but doesn't it seem the game has taken it a bit too far and we are missing out on true superstars because of it?

If you had a right-handed batter who hit better than Griffey vs left-handed pitchers, why wouldn't you?
