DT rarely tacklies in a 4-3 defense

I find it consistent that the 2nd DT in a 4-3 defense rarely records a tackle. It is starting to get too distorted. I am wondering if a 4-3 defense works for this game?

It's important that you have a Defensive Playbook appropriate for your 4-3 defense. When you change from 3-4 to 4-3, the game should prompt you to automatically load the "4-3" playbook. If that didn't happen:

    1. Go to Playbook on the Team Menu.
    2. Under 'Folder', select one of the "Defense:" folders.
    3. Click the "Load Defense Playbook" button.
    4. Choose "4-3" and click "Load".

The snap shot is the Chargers,. I was managing a different team. Do I need to due a universal change for the whole league?
