Pete's OPENING DAY Roster 2014 - for BM09, 10, 11, 12,13 & 14

This MOG update is for the 2014 Opening Day which is useable in Baseball Mogul 2009 -2014.

The years are backed off by 6 years in order to update the players stats in the game. However each player’s full MLB stats are listed and used by the BM game engine. A player’s 2013 stats are listed under the year 2007. 2012 stats are listed as 2006 and a player’s 2014 season stats will appear as 2008.

To use the mog, simply place this mog in the main game folder with your other "Saved" game mogs.

Then select the MOG listed as: Pete4256 Opening Day (2014)

I have also included a copy of the new MLB 2013 Division line up (5-5-5 5-5-5) schedule, in case you have not already acquired it elsewhere. You will need to place this schedule configuration in your game file folder of other schedules to continue onto year 2015 and beyond.

I have also updated each teams REVENUE ability based on actual 2012 reported earnings. This will support the player salaries I inputted using COT 2014 data. The AI takes the first year to adjust it's revenue, beginning the second season the teams revenues will be correct. Each team starts with $200 million cash on hand in order to get them to the second season.

Instructions on how to change the mog from the Yankees to your favorite TEAM:

Place the MOG in your main game folder and be sure to put the schedule in the correct folder as well with your other schedules (this varies depending upon your version of the game). Note: I believe the game may crash without the Schedule placed in the proper location.

Open the game and choose: Resume a Previously Saved Game
Choose: Pete4256 Opening Day (2014)
Click on: Resume Game

At the top click on LEAGUE
Then click: League Editor

Now change where it says New York Yankees to "YOUR MLB TEAM OF CHOICE".

Then change the dot near the bottom left where it says TEAM OWNER, change the dot from Computer to the dot above and type in YOUR NAME.

Now change where it reads "YOUR MLB TEAM OF CHOICE" back to read New York Yankees. Change the dot from MY NAME to the dot by COMPUTER


Hit DONE in the upper right corner.
Go to TOOLS ... then to OPTIONS.

Now UNCHECK the box Commissioner Mode.

Click OK and save the game.

You'll be all set to begin the 2014 season.

great job with your mod for this season pete i put in all the current high res pics for this year made some changes to the lineups ready to start the 2014 season. i have one question how do i get this years teams schedule i installed the file you gave us to put in the schedule folder it shows houston in the american league im playing as the yankees and the nationals but the opening day teams im playing against is not accurate the yankees are playing the tigers and the nationals are playing the reds . the nats played the mets to open the season. how can i get this yrs schedule or did you give them to us in the download file and i didnt put where it was supposed to go . thanks

I used the BM2009 version of the game to create the Mog and the schedule is therefore random and fictional. I am not sure if it would be possible to make a perfect 2014 schedule with even one of the newer versions of the game.

im using your new roster for 2014 with bbm13 seems some of the redsox and other players stats are a lil off as junichi tazawa and alex cobb are both tossing the ball over 100 mph.

Each of the Pitchers attributes as in the number of different pitches and the type of pitches are all generated by Clay's BM game engine. I am guessing the program looks at the pitcher's past MLB records and generates his abilities from this information. So, yes all the pitchers information with regard to the Skills screen is fictional.

You can always go in and tweak anything you feel needs adjusting. I am a Reds fan and I had to tweak Billy Hamilton, he was rated way too high as an example.

I don't see why it wouldn't if you'd like to try it, be sure to save the current roster file though as you certainly want to keep that in case this one ends up not working.

Not sure if I did something wrong, but after downloading into 2015Mogul, the opening day rosters of 2014 start with the 2008 season. It's the 2008 season with 2014 players and stats. Is there a way to update this?

Nope. If you use this Mog you have to play the game with each year's stats off by 6 years (past and present). There is no work around, sorry.

Remember is this all fantasy baseball anyway.
