    Braves game

So I am heading to Atlanta and hitting a braves game, either Friday Saturday or Sunday. I have coupons for free field box seats for the wife and I.

I haven't checked the mats rotation but will try to get the Strasbourg game.

I have never been to Atlanta or turner field. Any tips anyone can offer?

I've been to the Ted plenty of times. There really isn't a bad seat in the house. Getting out after the game will be a major headache though.

There's a really excellent pub in Decatur, just across the city line, called the Brick Store. Best selection of beers I found in that city, and many of the locals there know baseball. Fills up early on a weekend, though, and it's a hella long way from Turner Field...worth the drive, though.

rage/ftb: first of all, poor taste. Secondly, lol for thinking I would sit in the upper deck like some commoner. Field box seats, comped, you silly heads. What's next, bringing a grill to the parking lot and sitting out there for 4 hours before the game? haaahahaha

Never was to the aquarium or Turner field but as a kid I went to a lot of games at Fulton County Stadium and spent a lot of time in Atlanta. Some of my uncles are crazy civil war buffs. They passed that on to me so I highly recommend Stone Mountain and the Cyclorama. Not sure how long you are planning on spending in Atlanta but I recommend the Zoo there as well (they have giant Panda twins!).

well i'm in atlanta. Have a nice little house to ourselves for 3 days for less than $200. airBNB! whatever that is.

When I saw 'cyclorama' I imagined some kind of ride or amusement park or bicycle related thing. I didn't imagine a huge civil war painting. Wow.

Something about the south having all those southern civil war generals engraved in stone similar to mount rushmore is just a bit weird. I'm understanding more of the southern experience now - how awkward it is for minorities to grow up in a place that flies the confederate flag over its state capitals and honors the civil war like it was the most honorable fight ever.

122R, row 25.field box near the Nats, so i get to see Strasburg up and down every inning. Its not bad for $50...$100 value if i bought them at face. Hmm. Kinda surprised tickets are cheap and so available.

Still it will be great to add another stadium to my list.
