if you're not a red sox fan, it looks like you should be quiet
where's the like button?
no you didn't, no party thread. I got a bit tired of some of the stuff in this forum tbh. i'm interested in the baseball banter however. Hoping my posting about Montero might in a weird way turn his season around. I bit on the hoopla thinking this would be his break out year (i was one of the few who thought he'd struggle last year) and took him in my cash fantasy league. I'm usually a year early grabbing a young guy to break out so I thought my timing was right this time. What a train wreck and i'm reluctant to drop him as my options are Gattis, Arencibia (league has K's as a category) Doumit, or Saltalamacchia. None of them are offering much more. Hate to trade for a catcher but it's a deep pool this year and I have to get more out of that position than what Montero is giving.
But after my chide remark he hit a homer today so it's working![]()
Serious, we did. You quit posting and you didn't restart the keeper league we did last year either. You're not on twitter either, so it was kinda odd that you just went AWOL. So anyway welcome back and don't say anything nice about Mike Trout or you will pay the ultimate price.
the keeper league was lost when I had my email hacked and dumped that account. Yahoo sucked and couldn't get me access despite numerous attempts. Very sorry about that. Twitter....i just don't get it. I'm only 34 but when it comes to that I feel 64. I did jump on it during the Boston Marathon attacks and felt it cool to get unconfirmed reports in real time rather than wait for the media filter. I found a couple that had a large following and seemed legit. I can see myself getting into following one story at a time but the constant clutter and information stream going through if I were to do more is more than I can handle.
Didn't Trout rob Cabrera of his well deserved MVP award last year? I haven't been gone that long now![]()
aow bandwagoning the cards? sounds about right
