Trades in '14

Was just wondering, are the trades in the 2014 version gonna be that much harder. I read that clay is reworking them. And no you shouldn't be able to trade 2 minor league shortstops and some cash for Holliday(or it is halliday(the phillies ace)). But you should be able to trade some actual propects for a a number 2 or 3 starter with a team out of contention.

One of the things I have alaways loves about the game was you can make trades. You might have to clear out the AAA of pitchers to get that closer but it was possible. There are other sports games you have to wait for the AI to trade with you because you could offer the whole farm and then some and not get a backup catcher.

So bottom line is it at least going to possible to trade with the AI or is it going to be like Front office football and the AI never budge on trades.

I enjoy the trading AI in 2014 where the teams will not trade their star players. I used to be able to trade and end up with an All-Star roster and win every year. This year I cannot get a Barry Bonds for 3 minor leaguers and cash. Nice to see that Superstar fan favorites stay put . Good job Clay.............................................Z

But can you trade for say bonds' back up or a middle reliver on his last year. I don't need to be able to make easy trades but some trades would be nice else it is the baseball version of FOF in that respect

Yes you can. I am playing in the 1987 season and just traded for Brett Butler and Brook Jacoby. Both fairly good stars that helped me win the National League East with the Pirates.............................................Z
