    In-Game Substitutions?

How do you substitute in-game (Football Mogul 2012)? I've noticed that in one game where I was up by 20 in the 4th quarter, the Cowboys were using Kitna to throw and whoever their backup HB was for running plays, but the lineup still showed Romo, etc... They clearly went to their backups despite the starters still being displayed. I wanted to do the same because there's no point in risking starter injury when you're running away with the game... but I can't find a substitution option. All I can do is change from the Offense/Defense screen that affects the entire display (so it's not the same thing the AI did) and when I do it this way, it completely destroys the post-game stats because of people's spots being switched around. (for example, it awarded LaMichael James as player of the game with Frank Gore's stat line and when you clicked on James's name, it brought up Michael Crabtree's player card)

Is there a graceful way to tell the game to start using your backups like the AI can do?

Go to-team-offense and change your qb during the game.

Did you even read my post...? That changes my starting QB completely as in if I don't go back and change it again, he'll start the next game. I'm not trying to change my starters, I want to make the game use backups. The A.I. does this and I was wondering if there was a way for me to do the same thing.

Sorry, but that is how you make changes within the game. After the game re-sort to starters.

Maybe someone else has a better answer?

The other issue is that when you make a change that way, the new QB (in your example) shows the stats from the original starter.
