Any Word when/if a patch will be released

There are a few bugs that have been mentioned and clay is nowhere to be found in the forums is he busy working on the patch or has he abonded us already this year

I was curious, so I looked at Clay's profile to see when he last posted on the forums. Since this new version was released, he has responded to a grand total of 3 questions and has not posted anything on any of the forums since April 4th. And this during the time of a new release!

I actually predicted this would happen when the 2012 version was released with it's very minor changes from the 2011 version. At that time I said that
Clay would make a couple more minor changes that would barely qualify as a patch for Baseball Mogul 2012 and call it Baseball Mogul 2013.

You predicted what? BM2k13 is very different. On the surface there appear to be a number of similarities, but the actual game engine was completely redone. I've been playing BM for a long time, and I'll admit that there have been years that have felt like the new version was just a patch with a new label, but this is most certainly not one of them.

Was that the best use of Clay's time? Were there other changes that should have been made that might have added more to the game? Those are questions up for debate. But, calling this year's version just a patch of last year's version really isn't fair.

As for Clay not responding. I work for a small game company myself, I know how hard it can be to spend a lot of time in the forums. It's the kind of thing you can spend all day doing if you let yourself, but then he's not spending any time actually updating the game. Where would you rather he spend his time? In the code or on the forums?

Clay is probably getting the demo ready, which typically incorporates the first patch.
