Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.
Abraham Lincoln
for the life in me i can't think of why Prince isn't a viable option for SEA and why there's be a zero percent chance he'd go there. They have the resources, and a need to improve their offense. I think it foolish to give this guy a 7+ year large value deal, but i'm not certain SEA wouldn't do it and feel they'd be just as likely to as Theo & the Cubs.
i believe the Nats & Giants have just as great a shot as any team to land him. If I was forced to choose a team i'd choose the Giants but really feel all the clubs listed have an equal shot. it just depends on who's going to pony up the most years and we really have no way of knowing. prince is kind of an oddball in that he's so huge surely some teams will be more conservative than others on a long term deal.
I think he'll go to Seattle and at his press conference he will say "Kobie sucks"
Just out of curiosity, where has Fielder-to-the-M's been discussed? I just spent 10 minutes looking online and couldn't find anything.

Jon Heyman's a dolt but he's usually correct when it comes to Boras clients.
Also, did you try Googling "Prince Fielder mariners" because this is the second result on the list.
I would love, love, love if the Nats were to sign him to a 3 or 4 or possibly even 5 year deal for 25 mill or so a year, but It ain't happening. More likely it will be the Cubs....
A lineup of Desmond, Werth, Zimmerman, Fielder, Morse, Harper, Ramos, Espinosa, pitcher would go great with a rotation of Strasburg, Gonzalez, Zimmerman, Wang, and Lannan!! Not to mention a bullpen of Detwiler, Gorzelanny, .... , Burnette, Clippard and Storen.
is it spring yet?

If the world was perfect, it wouldn't be. - Yogi BerraIt's a round ball and a round bat, and you got to hit it square. -Pete Rose2012 National League Rookie of the Year, Bryce Harper!!There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say 'Watch Me'. - Bryce Harper
your question was:
it's clear though that no matter how much evidence one shows you that it has been discussed, you are going to ignore it. it's also clear that you are poor at using google.Just out of curiosity, where has Fielder-to-the-M's been discussed? I just spent 10 minutes looking online and couldn't find anything.
Dark horse: Pittsburgh
