    Positive Feedback

    Documentation is Better
The documentation on formations is very good. It gives a clue as to the internal workings of the engine. This is very nice and gives the player the feeling that the game is really happening. It also gives a reason why it is important to have a large number (4 or 5) wide recievers, for example.

    Point of Confusion
One point I found confusing was related to the HALFBACK/FULLBACK issue. It is clear that blocking is not too critical for the primary running back. His primary duties are running and gaining yardage. The second running back seems to be the fullback. The fullback has some running duties but also is used as a blocker. There are formations that need two halfbacks and some that use a halfback and a fullback. Will the computer use a reserve RB if he is a better runner in two halfback formations?

Number of Players at each position
I looked for documenation about the minimum and suggested number of players at each position. I could not find this information.

There is no longer a minimum. That is, the CPU won't automatically sign players just because you don't have enough. This was a big problem/bug with the first Football Mogul. As for suggested, these are the numbers the CPU teams try to reach:

    3, // QUARTERBACK
    6, // RUNNING_BACK
    4, // TIGHT_END
    7, // WIDE_RECEIVER
    4, // TACKLE
    4, // GUARD
    2, // CENTER

    6, // DEFENSIVE_END
    4, // DEFENSIVE_TACKLE
    9, // LINEBACKER
    6, // CORNERBACK
    5, // SAFETY

    2, // KICKER
    2, // PUNTER

I'll add some documentation explaining this.

    Thanks Clay!

I think that good documentation is really important for two reasons:

#1 It makes the game more accessible and more fun
#2 It helps the player pick the appropriate staff

For the first point, it is interesting to know what is going on "behind the scenes". And how the plays are selected and so forth.

The documentation you've added will go a long way to making the game successful.
