Super impressed by Tyler Clippard the last couple of days.

Awesome location with both his fastball and changeup

Clippard = part 1 of "Clipp and Burn". Or on days that Storen closes, "Clipp and Store". So far they have made games in which the starters are pulled early, bearable.

@ AJ, in Riggleman's defense of his early pull of Lannan in Lannan's first start, was because of a rain delay.....

That may be the only time I defend Riggs this year.

According to Mitch Williams on MLBN, Matt Thornton shouldn't close for the White Sox because he throws a lot of strikes and doesn't have a "herky-jerky" motion.

So Mitch is a fan of closers walking a lot of batters?

So by his logic, Roy Halladay would be the worst closer in the league.

...And Dave Stieb and his smooth, absolutely no hitches delivery, would have to be one of the worst pitchers of all-time.

Mitch Williams is a dipshit. Ask Mitch Williams how many World Series-winning home runs Matt Thornton has given up.
