Yeah as soon as my DirecTV contract runs out I'm dumping it for Netflix only. Then when baseball season comes around again, MLB.tv.

Freeks & Geeks! I'm loving this. How was this show canceled after 1 season?

I dumped satellite TV maybe 2 years ago, and went with netflix plus digital rabbit ears. $8.99 a month is better than $90 a month.

Things we have found and loved as a couple:
    Lie to Me
    Breaking Bad
    30 Rock

Things I love and watch near daily:
    Parks and Rec
    TED talks

Things I have watched all the way thru (from what is available):
    Its Always Sunny in Phil.
    Louie
    Wilfred
    The Walking Dead

    Today's movie:
    Europa Report - solid sci-fi

Have you tried Hulu? I use netflix and hulu. Hulu is great for me because it has all the network shows & I work nights so I miss a lot of them when they come on, but I can watch them whenever I want on Hulu. It also has a lot of Spanish content, telenovelas & most Univision shows. It's the perfect compliment to Netflix IMO.

I watched a few episodes of old cartoons on hulu, it seemed fine. Amazon Prime seems to have some of the shows/movies we are missing...I figure either one is a good compliment to Netflix, but since Amazon's comes with free shipping...it might have the edge.

Just wondering what changes you made? I'm trying to lose 20lbs myself. First five came off very easy, but I kinda got stuck there..

just portion control - I would go out with the wife for meals 3 x a week or so, and we'd walk away stuffed and sluggish. So we ate less when we ate out, and ate out a bit less.

Exercise was a big factor tho...I made playing tennis a priority. I actually got in a match every day for 8 days. In a serious low-level (3.0) tennis game you get in 4 or 5 miles of running. That was really it...every tennis game dropped a pound from my gut.

I just went through the entire series The Guild over the last week. Awesome web series, very funny, fell in love with the main chick (like in a sister/brother way). Pretty cool cast of supporting characters and nice cameos.

I dont think any guild/clan around has a 3:3 male to female ratio tho...but my friends mom was big into everquest...and actually fell in love and ran away because of the guy she met on there, lol...so there is truth in this craziness
