Things I have watched on Netflix

Maybe this might be better than the movie thread.

Free's great recommendation for Louie is what I've been watching, through 4 episodes now. I'm going to check out Bizarre Foods from the 2010 season, see how that is.

Over the weekend, I finally watched Saints and Soldiers (it has been on my instant que for several months). I liked it, I probably won't watch it again, but it was worth watching for me. Also I started watching Defiance, but haven't finish it yet.

Re: Things I have watched on Netflix

Maybe the easier answer would be what I haven't watched on Netflix, lol.

Let's see, streaming I watched Fido, The Big Lebowski, The Signal, Mallrats, a bunch of MST: 3000, Last of the Living, Redneck Zombies, a couple of Eddie Izzard specials, a Louis CK special, Wal Mart: The High Cost of Low Prices, a Kevin Hart special, a few George Carlin specials, Man vs Food, Sliders, Precious, Bret Hart: Wrestling with Shadows, Parks and Recreation, Louie, and about to watch The NeverEnding Story.

Through the mail I've watched Dead Alive, The Hurt Locker, The Time Traveler's Wife, and disc one of the first season of Nurse Jackie.

I could never get into Eddie Izzard. I might have to watch Mallrats again.

Yeah, that and Chasing Amy are two Kevin Smith movies I hadn't seen. You know, The NeverEnding Story holds up very well. Watching Artex sink in the swamp of sadness when the sadness overtook him is such a great metaphor for depression (even worse is I read that the horse actually did drown when the platform it was on couldn't lift him back up and it panicked in the water).

My sons and I watched the entire series of the Last Airbender (the cartoon series) and I really enjoyed it!
Then I watched the movie and was disappointed with it, but the boys liked it.

I liked it. The twist at the end actually caught me off guard but it's not perfect. It had some faults but I give it a lot of credit for tricking me. I think you'd enjoy it.

I really liked this one, and am a big fan of Scorsese.

A blurb from a review on the internet movie database:
Shutter Island. A film that will make you question your own sanity. A film that will leave you breathless. A film that has re-ignited the thriller genre. A film that will leave you, and the main character, searching for answers.
I have also watched the complete My Name is Earl series.

Oh, and I have watched several Buck Rogers episodes! Talk about a blast from the past! My sons both love Twiggy, and I will admit I still get a kick out of him as well.

We watch an awful lot of stuff...recently we have watched the available seasons of Lie To Me, True Blood, and Better Off Ted. Now working on the series Kidnapped, and watching Modern Family and 30 Rock from the beginning.

    Modern Family is hilarious.
