collie just left on a stretcher...didn't look good. analysts on TV stating they feel it was a fair hit but got flagged for helmet to helmet regardless. any play nowadays int he nfl when someone is hurt when hit violently is gonna get a flag it seems.

the defender didn't launch himself, didn't duck the head. the receiver made the catch, got two feet down, tucked the ball, he wasn't defenseless.

what was really sad was seeing a player in bad shape on the field and having more attention paid from the players and the analysts on the flag. you seen asante samuel jumping around pissed off they got flagged, which i can understand, but don't do it within 15 feet of a player with a possible paralyzing injury seconds after it occurred. it wasn't as if he didn't know collie was hurt, the whole colts staff was already working on him. really poor taste, but unfortunately in todays climate of quick trigger calls players are really on edge about not being allowed to play.

    Re: 2010 NFL Talk

Dolphins LB Channing Crowder, who is the best quote in the league by far, chimes in on the crappy officiating in the Dolphins-Ravens game:

"Le'Ron McClain spit in my face. That's some real ho sh*t, so if you talk to him tell him he's a ho. If he ever comes to Miami, he's got to see me."

What about the officials? Didn't they see what happened?

"They said they didn't see it. Then they said something about they let Karlos Dansby get away with a facemask before. Who the ***** cares? I just got spit in my face. I don't give a damn about Karlos pulling somebody's facemask. Like they didn't see Chad Henne get hit twice when he slid. No, no, they say, 'Aaah.' Stevie Wonder and Anne Frank. Who's the blind girl? Helen Keller, then. I don't know who Anne Frank is. I'm mad right now. I'm not as swift as I usually am."

Some great NFL action today though. Some close ones and an ass whooping the G-Men put on Seattle, fantastic stuff.

The end of the KC game made me sick, cost me about $150 in one of my free pick contests -- how does KC's D just let Oak do that at the end
