Awesome, that means Orton should score like 50 points, and Lloyd like 30 for me.

All week long the explayer announcers are moaning that the NFL is going to ruin the game by 'changing' the rules on helmet to helmet hits. I only got to watch two games but I saw clean, hard hits. Nary a cheap shot to be found...

You know if they really wanted to solve the problem and keep the gladiator aspect of football they go with the idea I suggested a couple of years ago. Take football back to it's roots. No forward passes, shorts, cleats, shirts and leather helmet with no face mask, full contact tackling. Ok, maybe you can keep the forward passing but the loss of pads and face mask will make people change how they tackle I bet.

Depending on how much you value touchbacks he's actually been one of the better kickers in the game.

On a side note, I also want to say that even though Max Hall started the game at QB, Walter Thurmond did a hell of a job covering Fitzgerald. He had some deflections, solo tackles and did a great job of jamming him at the line. Definitely looks fully recovered from the injury that dropped him in the draft and likely to continue to get better as he continues to learn the game.

+1 Oregon for producing Thurmond. Still sux tho.
