Don't bump thread just for a poll vote

I waste a lot of time checking threads for "unread messages" when all that has happened is someone voted in the poll. And many people have complained that voting in old polls is just trolling. Why not change things so a poll vote doesn't bump a thread or mark it as having unread messages? If I'm interested in a poll I can always find it.

    That would be nice.

Also, for polls I create, I set them to expire, 30 or 60 days out. Too many fools on here will dig up a 3-year old poll and vote on it.

Can't Clay or Dee lock all polls that are more than a year old?

That's what I used to do, when people would bump the old ones.

Anyway, to implement the actual suggestion would require changing the software. You coudl probably post a suggestion on the vBulletin.com forums...

Is this true? The other vBulletin board I frequent doesn't have this problem.

...there's probably a mod out there, somewhere.
