May we thank him for this gift. And for this greatest day. And thank him for the Rockies. And for the Mariners. And yes, even for the Yankees and Red Sox. But we must not thank him for the Mets. As that is our punishment for sinning on this great game! We must live with their pain! But we may thank him for the Cardinals, and for the Blue Jays, and even, yes, Even The Braves (which everyone should read).
