I can't wait to play Football Mogul 2003

Will it have year by year stats like Baseball Mogul 2k3?

No...the NFLPA license is very difficult to aquire, and reportedly costs upwards of $100,000, which is significantly more than the MLBPA license.

FBM will probably cost the same as Baseball Mogul, either $19.95 or $29.95.

I would be willing to pay 50$ for football mogul...If it is anywhere near as good as baseball mogul 2k3.

That's good to hear; the game is alot of fun, and I think you'll enjoy it if you like BBM 2k3.

That was sort of a misstatement; there is no financial way we can justify paying that kind of money for the players license. It would be much better spent hiring new staff so we can develop Basketball Mogul and improve our existing games further.

I trust it will just be renamed players and such then like in the old FM and old BBMKs?

If so, perhaps someone can come out with a roster patch to fix that.

    Question about FM2K3

Are you players based on real players like with some players on BBM2K3, like with Allen Culligan being Brian Daubach, Leo Larue being Mark McGwire? Or are they completely generic players? I'd be willing to buy the game and change the names if it's like that, but I'm not so sure if they are completely fake.

It will be based on real players, just with different names.

    Phew

That's good to know. Just one more question, are you permitted to include pictures? I wouldn't think, but on BBM they still have pictures for players who don't originally have their own name. Pictures are really insignifigant to me compared to having real players, but I'm just always curious. Sorry! Thanks.

will there be a "fictional league" option where instead of having real players with fake names, the game makes up a whole bunch of fake players?

I've never played Mogul... I've played Out of the Park Baseball 4. Can someone tell me the best features that comes with the baseballl/football mogul series?

Just wondering, will FBM have a cap like the NFL and will FBM be money based or point based?

Football Mogul is money based. It does have a salary cap, which you can adjust or turn off.

Also, i'm not sure if you can create a completely generic league, but it is relatively easy to do; just sim 20 years into the future and use that as your database.

BTW, there are a lot of Mogul/OOTP comparisons in the Baseball Mogul 2003 forums. In short, Mogul is more a a financially accurate, management sim, while OOTP is more of a micromanagement game.
