Start from post #62 and just work on down. lol![]()
Siena
They will of course lose to Duke in the sweet 16 round.
I think thats because Sheyer's legs will be completely kaput after the first 2 rounds! And Duke relies a ton on how he does, if it weren't for that last basket he made they would have most likely lost to GT. So, given that they are so dependant on their top shooter I can't see them making it past the sweet 16 no matter who they play.
BTW, how did they rate getting to play the winner of the "play-in" game? I thought that was supposed to be the opponent of the best team in the tourny?

If the world was perfect, it wouldn't be. - Yogi BerraIt's a round ball and a round bat, and you got to hit it square. -Pete Rose2012 National League Rookie of the Year, Bryce Harper!!There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say 'Watch Me'. - Bryce Harper
Duke got seeded as the number 1 overall. It's pretty ********. Not only do they play 64/65 when KU should be playing them, but more importantly, they get Villanova which is the weakest of the 2 seeds. And then they get Purdue sans Hummel as a 4?
They've got a wide open path to the Final Four, that's for sure.
Illini.
Yeah I need a Winn-Dixie grocery bag full of money right next to the VIP section...
I just want UK in the Final Four
and Mizzou in the Sweet 16
Duke will not make the Final 4 - they rely too much on Scheyer, Singler and Smith. No one else is a viable scoring option for them. Second, their road is a lot tougher than people give the other teams credit for - Utah State and Siena are both tough mid-major schools, and Purdue and Texas A&M are both nationally ranked. Then, if they get to the Elite 8, they have to face either a Villanova team that causes so many mismatches, a Baylor team that can light it up when they're right, an unbelieveably hot Notre Dame team, or another solid mid-major in Richmond/St. Mary's. Given their recent reputation, expect the Blue Devils to slip up at some point, paving the way for someone else to sneak in.
Also, I hate the play-in game. Period. Anyone else think that they should just do away with one at-large bid? Would anyone really miss it?
