I am voting for Johnson. High OBP, not slow enough to clog the bases completely, and is a singles hitter who draws a ton of walks....exactly what you need in front of two of the greatest hitters in the game today, A-Rod and Tex

I assume Derek Jeter is hitting leadoff so I'm going to ignore him.

I would probably bat Granderson second vs RHP and Johnson second vs LHP.

Jeter not going to bat second for sure........cano hits right at fielders most of the time i think granderson is the best choice for this spot. Speed, Power, Contact. Maybe swisher could take the role.....takes walks.....and stuff

    Johnson draws walks....

everyone else doesn't even come close to the numbers and pitches seen by Johnson.

We aren't really taking about experience right here but more in skill. We need a guy with a lot of speed and mroe of a hitter. Walks dont count if you dont score.

Umm, A-Rod and Tex are batting third and fourth. You don't need any speed in front of them so long as it doesn't clog the bases. You want a guy with a lower slugging percentage, higher on base average so there are men on base for your highest sluggers.

It's a no-brainer. And yes, experience matters in that sort of a spot in the lineup, even though I never said anything about experience.
