So back to the Show.............


Great game, rosters need to be desperately improved (online updates will come I'm sure).

The game play is better, but personally, I hate how they just completely ignored the rosters when making this game.

Players aren't rated close to accurately, AI does some very very strange trades....random made up pitchers throughout the original roster, that all apparently can throw 95, as well a 65 mph knuckleball.

Prospects don't pan out like they should, I have been spoiled with OOTP/Mogul.

Game play is much better and improved. But the AI is very easy to rip off...for example, I was able to trade Garrett Anderson for Matt Cain straight up....as well Jake Peavy for Tim Lincecum straight up. And none of the player contracts are correct, it's not like it's hard to find baseball contracts and put in the correct amounts.

Love the game, but they ignore the GM stuff for stat head guys like me.

and the game completely ignores any level of sabr stats....haven't we learned that those stats are what stands out more now? HR, AVG, and RBI's are not the best way to evaluate players.

Anyway, I'll keep playing, bc game play is soo sweet...but it's not as much fun to build a franchise.

Didn't get into RTTS last night, but I assume we will.

The gameplay is awesome.

I agree with Jeffy on the franchise mode.

The "road to the show" however, is pretty good. Takes a long time to make it to the show it seems, but it shoudl.

made it out of spring training in my third year....that is about how long it took in the other RTTS's as well.

I only do the batting, don't do the fielding or base running for this guy. And I did it in one night

After all of the talk in here about The Show. I went out and got a used PS3 and MLB 2010 The Show not too long ago. Can't wait to give the game a try.
