Just played my first couple innings, awesome!

Sox / Mariners...

Beckett starts off wild (hard getting used to controls) walks the first batter. Fly ball to LF, caught by Ellsbury who overthrows 2nd base on the throw in. Beckett struggles but gets out of the inning.

King Felix strikes out first two before VMart lines a double. Yuke then cranks one to the wall where the LF makes a catch while banging against the wall. Excellent graphics.

Beckett again struggles with control walking first two. GB to SS where double play attempted but Pedroia throws it over Yukes head (so much for run prevention). run scored.

Felix striking guys out b4 Cameron draws a walk on what should've been strike three. Felix throws his hat in disgust. Next batter Beltre. First pitch fouled off the ump who howls in pain. Second pitch spanked to right and bangs off the pesky pole.

The animation, the little stuff...is what makes this game great. Its not just grip and rip.

Yep. We 360ers and PCers only get MLB 2K10 which, once again, sucks. A 7/10 from IGN, a 7.2/10 out of 31 votes at GameTrailers. It's embarrassing to 2K and frustrating for fans of the MVP-and now The Show-series.

7 out of 10 is a step up at least. Last year's version was awful.

Yeah.. I'm looking forward to when EA Sports can make baseball games again.. I would like to see them implement what they have with NHL 10..

The MLB series is the only reason I miss my PlayStation.. Still not sure I want to spend $300 for one game though

first person fighter, a goalie mode, shootout mode, minor league teams, hybrid controls. i'm pretty sure there's more, but all this is off the top of my head

They added a Be A Pro mode which is actually well done. They implemented board play, first person fighting, a realistic goal scoring engine (much better then 09 even), an AI that learns and adapts to the user, and minor and european leagues.
