You don't think you would pitch around Albert more likely if Betancourt is batting clean up over Holliday?

    I would pitch around him...easily.

and TLR adamantly believes in protection for Albert. Not saying I do of course, saying he is one of the greatest minds in the game, he saw it as a necessity.

Of course, the reverse of that is true too. A worse hitter behind you, you'll walk more.

I wanted to vote 0, but I voted 41-50 simply because I'm an Astros fan, and the damage he does to the Astros pitching year in year out is, heart breaking.

But also as a baseball fan, he is absolutely fun to watch. I'd have even more fun watching him play elsewhere, outside of the NL Central. :P

I do think he will resign, he seems like a dedicated-non greedy type player, and the fans in St. Louis are great. Unless Yankees or Redsox ante up tons of money, I don't see him leaving.

    Well said.

Well, I've been an Astros fan for quite some time now, through thick or thin. Even some of my best friends who love baseball aren't even Astros fans, so I hear alot of trash talking. lol

Nationally I have seen less astro fans than any other team...they really seem not to have an identity nationally at least what I see...(no hard feelings) I do think it is pretty cool that you are on here....

I am pretty confident in saying this, when Albert plays for another team, is when pigs fly.... same as when the Cubs win the World Series...

    I like that uniform
