    Hey Tiger, just walk away

Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are .

    and take golf with you.

I don't care how many holes Tiger put it in, and I don't care how many shots it takes a grown man to put a ball in a hole

    how about..................

    we just leave him alone?

Let him do what he wants, he doesn't owe us anything, as fans, or citizens of America who know who he is.

Just let him do what he wants, sebatacle, retire, play, whatever he wants, it's his life, it should be his choice. I find it irritating that everyone with an opinion on the matter seems to think they need to speak as though he is actually listening. Give the guy some time, let him do whatever he wants, and I bet in 5-10 years from now, people will have basically forgotten, they did with Kobe.

He dosen't owe the public anything,
but Tiger is a multi-millionaire because he sold himself, the public is a consumer of Tiger, he is a product and as a product people will pick it apart as they wish.
He can't hide behind the "I want privacy" with one hand and hold the other hand out for money based on himself.
He spent years and years cultivating a public image, from his very first scripted corparate shill "Hello, world" line up untill the 'day". So he can't try to act indignant when he wants when the exact method that gave him millions of dollars turns on him.

    Plus it's funny.

Also it's true: if you care about your public image, which Tiger obviously did before this, you're going to have to go through this afterwards. If he wants to stay a public figure after this he is going to have to answer questions.
Like gyryhaf1 said, you can't use your public image for money and then just ignore the bad parts.

I agree for the most part. He's obviously going to have to work much, much harder to get back to where he was, and not just with his corporate sponsors, but in the "eyes of his fans". At the same time, hopefully people will leave him alone now. I can do without the helicopter footage of him getting in an SUV or without the pictures of his motorcade driving in. And if it's true that the paparazzi followed his child to school and even published the location, that's despicable. Obviously, many of the things he did were despicable, but like he said, that's for him and Elin to work out. I won't serve as an armchair character commentator since I'm nowhere close to perfect myself. He knows what he has to do now, and I'm sure he'll work toward that. I have no concern for Tiger Woods since he can take care of his own problems, so I don't have to talk about them anymore.

I think it is hilarious that Fatlock is saying he is tired of people telling Tiger what he should do in an article in which he is telling Tiger what he should do.
My runs created per 27 posts (RC/27p) was 12.4 last year. I should've been MVP.

he doesn't owe anyone but his family anything. The BIGGEST WHORES in this whole thing is the media. They love this sh!t. They are making this the story it is, pulling their Brett Favre playbook and using it to extremes. Whats going on today, all the media spending 3/4 the day making this "apology" larger than any issue in the world is deplorable.

Why doesn't the public ever take issue with the media on this type of gossip crap? Easy answer.....its because the media molds the story so that it could never get to that point.

I'm exhausted with it all. Enough Tiger Woods. Only the media can make a guy like this look like a victim.

    This.

    And what dickay said.

Tiger can do whatever the **** he wants. If he wants to play golf, he can play golf. If he wants to retire and go on a speaking tour about the dangers of sex addiction then he can do that. I don't care, it's Tiger's life. All I know is, the PGA needs Tiger.

I'm an example of their ratings drop myself. Last year, I WATCHED the WGC Accenture Match Play Championship. Why? Because Tiger was playing. I watched every major. Why? Because Tiger was playing. I won't watch any of those this year if Tiger doesn't play.
