When I lived in DC I tried to go to one game in each series.
We'll see how it shakes out here in NY. Definitely going to Mets and Dodgers, hopefully my Mets fan bro can get his ass in gear and get out here too. I have to go to at least one game at Yankee Stadium-though I feel dirty contributing financially to the empire.
I usually see 4-9 a year, mostly going to Tampa and then Miami.
This year is different - no guys trips to floriduh, only vegas. No majro league action close enough.
I do get to see the White Sox when they come play the Charlotte Knights tho. April 1st! I'll see a major league team in action before any of you mofos! har har har
what about your Red Sox?
I usually go to the Sox/Rays series in Tampa. I would see 3 to 9 games a year there.
My company has a few clients in boston, so in late 2008 I was treated to a game at Fenway which was sweet. But I like seeing other teams and getting more exposure.
I usually attend 6 or 7 minor league games too, since their cheaper and closer, but there's a seperate thread for that.
This year, I dont think ill see a Sox game in person. Maybe if they visit Atlanta?
I buy two ten packs every year. It includes opening day and at least 1 Cub game and playoff tickets if they make it (which is once every 26 years). I get the cheapest seats which are behind home plate in the upper deck, but really they're not that bad. I live about 5 minutes from Miller park. I usually also go to one Cubs-Brewer game in Wrigley. This year I might check out the SOX, though.
