Yeah, Sec 108. I'm wondering if there's any relation to Section 331.

....and you get to the end and all these posters start making comments and taking the article in wildly different directions and out of context.....I'm just glad that never happens on here.
“Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'”

I don't entirely buy the premise that the CEO of UPS doesn't care if his executive staff doesn't get along.
I don't think it was a particularly compelling article. I agree with the premise in its entirety, but there just wasn't a whole lot of evidence or support for his argument.

Yeah I need a Winn-Dixie grocery bag full of money right next to the VIP section...
well it does a good job of discrediting the pro-chemistry argument, but that's about it.

Baseball is a unique sport. You really don't have to rely on someone else to have individual success. It's basically batter vs. pitcher I think for this reason chemistry is less important. Think about Football for instance where just about every position relies on another to be succesfull. QB needs the line to block, recievers to catch the ball, run good routes, etc,etc..
Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.

That's all anybody really can do.
Very true. I recall bringing up this point myself in previous threads, regarding both chemistry and a player's ability to "make those around him better." I buy both of those arguments for sports like football and basketball where there is a constant interaction between teammates. Baseball, though, is a much different sport.
