Outside of McAllister & Montero they have nobody higher than Low-A worth talking about.

They have tons of depth -

Austin Jackson - nope, wait, they traded him.
Melky Cabre- no, crap, he's gone too.
Xavier Na- nope, he's a FA, crap.
Okay, well there's Ian Kenned - arrrgh! no, he's gone to the D-Backs.

    Uhmm...

Some catcher that can hit but can't field - Jesus Montero.

I think Chad Gaudin and Sergio Mitre. Gaudin had some good stretches.

And then...there's, uh....a TON of money to spend on whatever they need. If anyone really falls, they can always buy another decent star to replace them. So...you've always got that!

the yankees depth is and has been for years created by their marketing department and for the most part ficticious. many of the "upcoming stars" of recent years weren't all that great of prospects.....but they are yankees and marketed well and as a result the yanks get more in return for them.

Fangraphs did a pretty good overview of the Yankees prospects: HERE.

The Yankees don't really have that many amazing, must-have prospects (outside of Montero who is a monster hitting prospect and will probably be a DH or a crappy first baseman) because of the frequent loss of their first-round picks to other teams due to their free-agent signing binges. At least, there are worst farm systems out there.

Who needs a farm system when you can buy everyone?

Isn't weird how Arod won Mvp in 2003,2005, and 2007? I bet that was when Arod took steriods and then he laid of in 2004,2006,2008. I bet he was going to take it in 2009 and would have won MVP, but the people were starting to find out so he laid of it this year. What do ya think? am I right?

he was injuried for the first month plus in 2009.......... and how do you know he laid off it? I am not saying he did, but do you have any proof he didn't. I don;t think so
