    The best closers generally are worth around 3 or so Wins Above Replacement. To put it in perspective, a true MVP candidate is usually around 7-8.

    So, instead of the Rolaids award, "regurgitated by a save based formula", we can have an award voted on by the same dumbasses that vote for all the other awards, who will just focus on saves anyway because they are indeed dumb?
