Albert thanks God like if he doesn't he will all of a sudden lose the ability to hit or something. Some take it very seriously, some dismiss it. It's whatever, he just certainly wouldn't be the first.

Agreed. The whole thing is some what surprising because you never hear too often about someone devoting their life to religion after already being in professional sports. It is very interesting and I am happy for the guy.
Ready for Offseason rumors and trade talk!

    Just for fun BBM10 roster:

Or in language that you can better understand

i'm not judging. Don't be ignorant to the world around you. Obviously a very large number of people take their religious views very seriously. Sorry that atheists have to see things like "in God we trust" etc. I can imagine that would be frustrating. But to just jump in and say, too bad there is not god, so it's pointless is an ignorant statement.

Unless FTB has died and and looked around and seen all the answers in the world that he can honestly answer that question, then it is an ignorant statement. Something we have no clue if it is true or not. It would be like me saying, good for him, now he will get into heaven. It's the same equivalent.

It is something out of our control. We don't even have the ability to comprehend what a God or gods would likely be like. We don't know for certain if there is a God or gods. that's why it's called 'faith.' And until we know for a fact one way or another, it's a ****ing retarded statement and very ignorant and small minded to make such a judgment.

Either way, we all know what each other on here thinks about the topic, it's only going to end ugly and get stupid if we all get uppity with our opinions on it.

Good for him for pursing a life that he wants to live. Obviously it's a huge and very important part of his life. It couldn't have been an easy decision, and I am happy for him. Anyone that can walk away from such an amazing possibility and career that most people only wish they could get to says a lot about how serious he is about his devotion to this life and his profession. I am positive he must be a very happy man, who sees that he could make a tremendous impact in the world around him to make this kind of decision. I've said my peace, I'll try to stay away from this topic because I am positive it will end ugly.

It makes them lied to. They wouldn't invent the idea of Santa unless it was fed to them

No, but if a 30 year old believed in Santa, it would make him an idiot.

You know those gifts your cat probably leaves on your doorstep? Yeah, those were from Santa. He was hit hard by the recession and has had to metamorphosize into a cat.
