It's really amusing how he's slamming other players for being great at an old age (even with his facts wrong) when he set what was by far a career high 37 home runs at age 37 and continued to play effectively as a catcher until he was 43.
2nd most in all time games played too correct? and he was an effective player throughout his late thirties and even early 40's some.
I love how so many players are complaining as well..
it's ridiculous
Ozzie Guillen is upset because when he played, he played against McGwire, and thus missed out on playoff games.
I wish I was kidding.

Yeah Ozzie, nobody on your team or any other team did steroids."That bothered me," Guillen told ESPNChicago.com columnist Melissa Isaacson on Thursday. "First of all, we competed against [McGwire's Oakland teams] in the '90s, and when I saw that, I was like, wow, I could have been in more playoffs, maybe I'd have had the chance to be in the World Series because we had a pretty good ballclub.![]()
is he taking about the a's in the late 80's?
MCGWIRE STEROIDS MEANS I BE STUPID NOW!
--- Any one of many ex-players.
Did you hear Fergie Jenkins demand that McGwire personally apologize to every pitcher whose career he ruined by homering off of them? Good God.
Illini.

Robin Yount is sensible, at least.
That was hysterical too. I'm 100% sure that no pitcher had his career ruined because Mark McGwire homered off of them. I'm also 100% sure that Mark McGwire homered off of multiple steroid using pitchers.Originally Posted by haveacigar

Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.

its a shame but add Fisk and Jenkins to the growing list of whiners which I now have zero respect for ..
Robin Yount wins.
