    Success vs.money

I still cant figure this one out. The Marlins started in 1993. Since then, 2 WS and always a threat. No fans cause 1) they drop everybody 2) its hot.

Despite this the Marlins will contend next year again with what was the lowest payroll in baseball till the Union got involved. Wow, a black eye for the Pirates.

My question is what is wrong with baseball? Why cant teams like the Mets, Phillies, Dodgers, Cubs, and Braves compete? I think that they should be required to have payrolls of 120M or more. Its unfare unless they do. Ok, Phillies, we'll let you slide.

I was kidding. I was just trying to prove the point that payroll doesnt = success.

Marlins have had one of the best scouting/management and development systems for a long time. Plus new stadium coming.
