World Series all the way at this point. Clearly, Rodney and Pinero replace Lackey and offset the crapiness of Brian Fuentes...

There's a pretty significant history with pitchers developing a new pitch and keeping their new found success. I think he'll be a 2 WAR pitcher.

He's also going from the not-so-hot NL Central, to the apparently up-and-coming AL West though.

Three pitcher parks in the division and Oakland/Seattle will bring up the rear in offense. Texas will probably finish in the top half of offense.

There's still a big difference from AAAA and the AL, but I think he'll be fine.

He doesn't get to face the likes of the Reds, Astros, and Pirates on a regular basis anymore though. And if you're gonna put it up against the fact that they lost Lackey it's definitely a net loss, in my opinion anyways. We'll see though.

He was able to throw that pitch his whole career, he was finally consistent and solid with it this year, like he was at the end of his first season with St. Louis. He didn't do anything new, he was just consistent with it.

Quote me, he will not repeat his success. Although, he did sign for a better amount than I thought he would, I felt like we over paid him for his 2 year, 13 million dollar deal.
