Not in the last two years (-4.7, -6.1). He had an absurd +16.5 arm rating in 2007. That's unrepeatable and the only thing keeping his overall UZR very high.

I'm just saying, if anything you can't complain about his UZR. Not that I expect him to be a + defender moving forward.

Exactly, he's better in medium leverage situations than he is in low leverage situations.

Please do not use "very good hitting" when talking about Francouer. Unless of course you're saying, "Failcouer isn't very good at hitting". Throw a grapefruit up there and he'll take a whack at it. I know delusional Mets fans will say that his second half performance justifies him as being a good hitter again, but the fact us until then he hadn't done a thing since August of '05. If he was actually worth a darn the Braves wouldn't have gotten rid of him.

    Of course!

In other news, Bret Boone looks like the Keebler Elf.

Interesting how a thread about Arolids Chapman turns into Mets talk. So, are we really certain that a NLC team has agreed to terms with him? Does anyone doubt this maybe?

Shut up. He's better than anyone the Tigers have (besides Cabrera and maybe Inge)
