Step one for that organization...start over. Spending all your money on linebackers and wide receivers doesn't work. You need linemen, you need a running back worth a damn, and you need a quarterback of the future. Now.

Pete Carroll apparently his replacement. Let's see what Pete's got in try #2 of the NFL.

I love that Holmgren appointed Mora has his successor and that lasted all of one season.

I've never thought Mora as a good coach. He's like the guy that follows up on what the carpenter did.

Carpenter comes in, redoes your kitchen cabinets makes them look really nice. Says "I'll have a guy come back in about a week to check up on them". You really like your cabinets. In comes Jim Mora with his hammer and his nails and his lack of coaching ability and he says "It looks like this one is a bit off, let me fix it."

So you leave, you got a quick errand to run. 30 minutes later you come back. And your cabinets are on the ground. And Jim is standing there with his hammer hoping you don't come back before he puts the cabinets back up. Too late.

At least one source has said that it's a done deal, so...

    It wasn't Holmgren's Decision.

Good Move, I am not sold on Carrol thou, he had only a 33-31 record.

Step 1 should have been to change those god awful uniforms. Then work on replacing the coach.

Seriously though, Pete is tough to gauge how well he would do in Seattle. As a New England fan, he did ok there. He was a players coach which I like, and he didnt do that badly with the defense.

For some reason Drew Bledsoe didnt perform so well, which hurt us, and I think losing Curtis Martin also was a major blow to how well he did.

Also it was 10 years ago since he last coached in the NFL, there could be a chance players could respond better to his coaching style nowadays, like a Wade Phillips. He is an upgrade over Mora for sure though, I think that is one certainty.

I think this was a bad move. Why get rid of him after one year? What was the record the year before he got there?? Exactly my point. Why hire someone if your only going to give him 1 year. It wasn't like a Ray Rhodes situation where he took a playoff team and drove them to the ground. The team sucked the year before with a HOF coach. They were slightly better this year and they had alot of injuries. Makes no sense. On a side note Carrol will never succeed in the NFL.
Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.

From what Ive heard, he has had a bad rep in the locker room. Not only with Seattle but with Atlanta as well. I tend to believe this, as Seattle seemed to absolutely roll over in a lot of their games this year.

Seattle got wooped on by Tampa Bay. Boise would have played Tampa better then the Seahawks did.
