    Longevity and maturity?

What does longevity mean? And does it matter how high or low these are?

I think that you mean "durability" - for an explanation of FM's concept of this, click:

Help/contents/find players/scouting reports/then scoll down to "running backs; tight ends;wide receivers" and you'll find Moguls explanation in the 3rd paragraph.

    Hope this helps.

The way I always understood it was that longevity was how quickly a players skills declined after their peak end age. For example if you had a 99 ovr WR whose peak ended at 35 with a longevity of 10, as soon as they passed that threshold their career would be pretty much over. But if you took the same receiver but changed his longevity to 500 he would still remain a viable option for a few years

I stand corrected by the succeeding posters...I was quite forgetting the "longevity" box in the "Edit player" screen...ny apologies, Mike.
