Option 4: Don't care as long as my team wins!
But, if my team isn't playing, then I prefer a pitcher's duel. Nothing like seeing pro hitters look like 5 year olds. When a pitcher is in a groove, there is nothing more exhilarating than being at the game, standing up and cheering at every 0-2 pitch.
Zack and Miri made a Morneau and now it Byrnes when he Peavy's.
I don't have much of an appreciation for defense and pitching, but I love love love love slugfests

― Isaac Asimov
Love pitchers duels. Love em. It feels like it's become a game of 1 vs. 1. One guy on the mound trying to outpitch the other guy.
Pitching duels.
Sick strikeouts>homers
All I do is Lin Lin Lin

If the starters are no-namers or not future talents then a slugfest can be enjoyable. To me though there is nothing better than watching a hitter slightly flinch at a called third strike. Pedro's change-up in the late 90's and early 2000's was almost awe-inspiring.
chicks dig the long ball...i don't. pitchers duels rock.
Pitchers duel! When a game ends 1-0 because of one tiny mistake (aka the Twins-White Sox tiebreaker in 2008) THAT'S awesome
Gooo Angels!
